Cheile Turzii (Turzii Keys) - Romania 2015

   If you are in Transylvania, near Turda city and you love hiking, then you must visit Cheile Turzii.

   If you are go visit the keys through the village Tureni then you will cross over the Transylvanian highway A3. Stop for a couple of minutes and admire the Transylvanian landscape.

  When you reach the keys a beautiful landscape appears.

   You take a look at the info map and then with courage you start going into the keys.

   The small river Hasdate is the one that made this beautiful keys and it is full of trout.

   One you get into the keys you are surrounded by massive tower like rocks.

   Along the path you find some wood bridges that you must cross to continue your journey.

  Here and there nature reminds you that this isn't only about rocks and fishes.

  At the end of out journey a greenish-blue firefly wishes us a nice day.

Nicula Monastery - Romania 2015

   Romania is a known Country for its many churches and monasteries. This is the story of the Nicula monastery from Transylvania, a monastery located at 50 Km from the city Cluj-Napoca.

   

   When you arrive at the monastery you are greeted by a beautiful large gate.  

   After you pass the gate I recommend that you walk at to the monastery on the grassy path to the right of the gate. On this path you can see 5 crucifixes.

   At the end of this path a wonderful monument and the majestic monastery entrance appears.

   Inside the monastery beautiful church architecture and paintings can be seen.

   When you get out of the monastery and take a look back you see this beautiful landscape that surrounds the monastery.

   Next to the monastery there is a small church made from wood.

   To the right of the small church a third church can be seen.

  After visiting this beautiful monastery and its surroundings we leave, going through a small fence door that displays once again the magnificent Transylvanian landscapes.

   When you have a nice sunset and you have that feeling that fire will be seen in the sky, you have only one thing you can do: Take out your camera and start shooting.

   First you get some nice landscapes and then...

   Then the fire starts.
