The best subject to shoot is an object, because it doesn't move.
This doesn't mean that objects are easy to shoot. You have to use your imagination and to set the object/s in the correct position.
For this object photo session I used some old books and arranged them in different ways.
First a classic book on book with a twist. Literally the books are arranged in a twisted way as you can see.
The next pose was the open book pose, shot from different angles:
